enthusiasm for the game.  In 1997, he became head coach of the Fort Atkinson
High School boys' golf team, and in 2004, he founded the first Fort Atkinson
girls' golf team. During his ten years coaching golf at Fort Atkinson High
School, Butch's teams captured three conference championships, two regional
tournament championships, one sectional tournament championship and
made three state championship appearances. In the fall of 2007, Butch went
on to become the assistant coach for the U.W.-Whitewater women's golf team.

In celebration of Butch’s passion for the game, the Hiscox family has
established the Butch Hiscox Memorial Scholarship Fund. The scholarship
fund benefits Fort Atkinson High School boys’ and girls' golf team participants
and UW-Whitewater women's golf team members, providing scholarships for
those pursuing a post-secondary degree. Through the hopeful success of the
Butch Hiscox "Perfect Day" Tournament,  it is the hope of the family to continue
to offer scholarships to students on an annual basis.
