founded the first Fort Atkinson girls' golf team. During his ten years coaching golf at Fort Atkinson High School,
Butch's teams captured three conference championships, two regional tournament championships, one
sectional tournament championship and made three state championship appearances. In the fall of 2007,
Butch went on to become the assistant coach for the U.W.-Whitewater women's golf team.
In celebration of Butch’s passion for the game, the Hiscox family has established the Butch Hiscox Memorial
Scholarship Fund. The scholarship fund benefits Fort Atkinson High School boys’ and girls' golf team
participants and UW-Whitewater women's golf team members, providing scholarships for those pursuing a
post-secondary degree. Through the hopeful success of the Butch Hiscox "Perfect Day" Tournament, the
family will continue to offer scholarships to students on an annual basis.

Myron "Butch" Hiscox
July 22, 1948 - February 7, 2008
A lifelong golf enthusiast, Myron “Butch” Hiscox always believed that a “perfect day”
was one spent on the golf course. While living in the Whitewater, Wis., area, Butch
spent many of those perfect days with friends and family at either Whitewater Country
Club, Spring Creek Golf Center or Koshkonong Mounds Country Club.
Butch provided golf lessons to players of all ages over the years, embracing each
opportunity to share his knowledge and enthusiasm for the game. In 1997, he
